Conveniently located near bus station, restaurants, cafes, and night market. Helpful staff assisted with tour changes due to bad weather. Enjoyed comfortable beds and loved the showers. Spacious dorm rooms with ample luggage space. Friendly owner and girlfriend made us feel welcome. Close proximity to beach and downtown. Good information about bus routes provided. Chilled by the Pacific ocean on morning walk. Cats on porch. Walkable to food, shops, bus stations. Nice light bulbs in sink area.

I had an really good stay at a cost-worthy hostel in Taitung. The host was super friendly and took the time to provide detailed information about the room, transportation, and food recommendations. The hostel was cute, well-organized, and located in a great part of town. The bed was comfortable, and the common bath/toilet was super clean. It was also conveniently located near the bus station and food places. I highly recommend this hostel for solo travelers.

The Who Knows hostel in Taitung offers a pleasant and well-equipped dorm room for its guests. The room, made of beautiful wood, exudes a magnificent fragrance that adds to the overall ambiance. Despite the simplicity of the rooms, they are clean, cozy, and provide all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bunks were quite warm, even with the air conditioning and fans running, ensuring a good night's sleep.
One minor drawback of the Who Knows hostel is that some noise from outside can easily penetrate into the dorm room. However, as the hostel is located on a side road, the noise is not too excessive and did not disturb my sleep significantly.

Mind-blowing staff! They texted us before to confirm bus routes, gave great recommendations, and were super helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were modern, with their own lights, outlets, and tables. The hostel's central location made everything easily accessible - food, shops, bus stations - all within walking distance. The facilities were clean and the showers had nice light bulbs. an amazing experience!

The location, although a bit challenging to find, is close to the main city and within walking distance to night markets, parks, and the bus terminal. The hotel's staff is friendly and helpful, providing great service and lots of valuable information about the town and surrounding areas. The rooms are clean, tidy, and quite cozy despite the lack of fancy amenities.
Everything was ok, no major issues or complaints.

Being located near the bus stop and close to the sea, this accommodation offers fantastic views of the Pacific Ocean. the cozy common area invites you to mingle with other travelers and the friendly staff is always on hand. the spacious dorm rooms provide lots of space for luggage.
Some may not be comfortable with the lack of privacy in the mixed dormitory, as it is just an open room with no curtains.

The location of the hostel is great, just a short walk away from the bus station and nearby food places. The common bath/toilet was consistently clean, which was impressive considering how many guests were using it. The staff was friendly and communicative, providing helpful tips and recommendations for my stay.
It can be a bit difficult to find the hostel at first, and the social atmosphere isn't very lively. However, this might just be due to the low season and the fact that more local travelers seem to stay here than foreigners.

The staff at this hostel was very helpful, providing us with recommendations for places to eat and things to see in the area. the location was also really convenient, with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance.
We had trouble sleeping due to loud music and other guests being rowdy well into the night.
